to Iizuna Kogen from downtown Nagano, Iizuna Kogen is a year-round resort where
you can enjoy skiing in wintertime, and camping and picnicking
in the other seasons. |
Iizuna Kogen Skiing Resort
The resort has various ski slopes for all caliber of skiers from beginners to
experts. Among them is the "Tae Satoya Mogul Slope"* for freestyle skiing. |

Mt. Iizuna reflected in Lake Daizahoshi
Iizuna Kogen is a resort 1,100 meters above sea level. The resort features a lake,
called Daizahoshi-ike, and a beautiful forest of larch and white birch.
A great number of wild birds inhabit the resort and various highland plants blossom
in springtime. You can enjoy camping, golfing and tennis from spring through autumn,
and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. |
