＜第72回　長野節分会＞
2026年2月３日(火)　
善光寺と権堂秋葉神社で特別来賓や年男・年女、福男・福女による豆まきが盛大に行われる、冬恒例の行事です。
豆まきの時間が重ならないので、ぜひ両寺社に一年の「福」をいただきにお出かけください。

仁王門から善光寺木遣りを先頭に特別来賓と共に昇堂。
13：50頃～
善光寺本堂の回廊にて善光寺両住職・一山住職、特別来賓及び、年男・年女・福男・福女・天童による豆まき

権堂町・秋葉神社本殿にて節分追儺祭、祈祷

＜English Informaiton＞

What is "Setsubun Festival"?


"Setsubun" is a traditional winter festival in Japan.
At this festival, people eat or throw beans to drive away misfortune, disasters, and illness.
The custom of throwing beans, known as "mame-maki," is performed at temples and shrines.
Participants catch beans thrown by individuals who have received blessings, symbolizing the sharing of good fortune and the wish for happiness in the coming year.
Please experience real Japanese winter traditions by visiting this festival!

Date: February 3, 2026
[The bean-throwing]  
At Zenkoji Temple's main hall corridor, starts around 13:50.
At Akiba Shrine (Gondo), starts around 16:00.

Note that while anyone can participate in the bean-catching, you should be mindful of the crowded environment, and enjoy the event safely.
Depending on the situation, there may be restrictions on the number of participants.
